This one day programme has been developed for practitioners, to increase their understanding in regards the QIPP and what this means at practice level.
Programme outcomes include:
- An overview of what needs to be done in practice to deliver the QIPP agenda
- An awareness of how QIPP supports integrated working
- An increased understanding of how to improve, measure and ensure quality
- The knowledge and information to understand how to make basic efficiency savings
- A fundamental understanding of inputs, outputs and productivity
This programme will give practitioners a better understanding of what the QIPP means to them and how to achieve improvements in practice.
Narrow the Theory Practice Gap

This one day programme has been developed for practitioners to increase their understanding of the latest policy drivers and how these will impact their practice.
Programme outcomes include:
- An understanding of the history and intent of policy
- An overview of the latest government documents and their key issues
- An understanding of how to critique policy and strategy
- Clarity and transparency in regards policy objectives and their impact on practice
- Understanding of people focussed change management strategies and how to implement them
- Guidelines and techniques to support implementation of policy in to practice
This programme will give practitioners a clear understanding of the national context of government strategy and how this will shape future service provision.
Achieving The Transforming Community Services Programme
(How practitioners can support and deliver in the current climate)
This one day programme will ensure practitioners have the understanding and vision to develop and sustain the TCS programme.
Programme outcomes include:
- An increased understanding of the importance of outcomes in healthcare
- How to identify and be responsive to the needs of the local community
- How "Engaging leadership" can drive forward this agenda
- A better understanding of "The right nurse, right place, right time"
- A framework to support transition
This programme will give practitioners a better understanding of what the TCS Programme means to them and their responsibility to deliver at practice level.
